HOW TO UNINSTALL OFFICE 2000 PROFESSIONAL 

  1. Click Start
  2. Click Settings
  3. Click Control Panel 
  4. Double-Click the "Add remove programs" icon
  5. Scroll down and select Microsoft Office 2000 Professional.
  6. Click the "add/remove" button to go to Maintenance Mode
  7. Select "Remove Office" from Maintenance Mode
  8. Download eraser2k.exe from http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q239938   and follow the directions to download and run.This will remove files and registry entries for Office 2000.
  9. Reboot the computer after everything is completed
