Word is such an in-depth application that I am not going to go through every little detail of the usage of this application. I am going to show common usages and fixes along with some tips and shortcuts.

It has been a struggle for me to decide what should be included in this page to give YOU some real help while being reasonable for me time-wise. If you don't find what you are looking for, please go to the Fun Page and Let me know in the Forums or the Guest Book!

If you are getting error messages try the following:

Close Word 2000.
Click Start -> Run
Type "Winword /a" (do not type the quotation marks. There is a space between the "d" in Winword and the "/" symbol).
Click "OK" twice.
If you do not get the error message in this mode the follow the steps listed on this page:"Deleting the Normal.dot (or Global Template) for Microsoft Word" for the fix. If this does not work then
You will want to follow the directions in Uninstalling Microsoft Word to uninstall Word 2000. Then
Follow the steps for a Complete installation of Microsoft Office Word.
